Tuesday will be the last baking day for a couple of weeks as I’ll be disappearing to Holland in search of windmills, cheese & some new bread recipes. While it may have seemed like Ardnamurchan had been transported to the Caribbean for the last few weeks, I guess we all knew it had to end at some point. With storm Hector blowing through, it might be time to coorie in for the weekend and, for those of that can, lurk by a hot bread oven. Pain au noix

The bread of the week this week is pain au noix – an enriched walnut bread made with a mix of wholemeal and strong white flours, butter, milk, organic walnuts and a little bit of sugar. It goes great with a strong, crumbly cheese. It, along with the following is available to order for Tuesday:
