With the Christmas Producers’ Market on Saturday there will be no baking this Wednesday.  Bread will be available on the following days in the run up to Christmas:

• Wednesday 21st November (to order)
• Saturday 1st December (Christmas Produce Market at Kilchoan Community Centre)
• Wednesday 12th December (Produce Market at Kilchoan Community Centre)
• Thursday 20th December (to order)

Hope to see you on Saturday for usual breads and some festive treats.

And as requests have already come in – there will also be cinnamon buns on Wednesday. Almost thought I’d get away with a week without them! £1.25/ea as usual.

While your pumpkin lantern might now be confined to the compost bin or possibly happily munched by pigs, pumpkins still offer lots of potential for bread recipes. This week, I’m trying out a new roasted pumpkin sourdough. It will be available along with the following to order for collection on Wednesday morning:

• Roasted pumpkin seed sourdough £3.50
• Poppy seed white loaf £2.50
• Granary loaf £2.50
• Focaccia with goats cheese, caramelised onion & tomato £4.00
• Sultana scones 75p

Bread can be collected from the Kilchoan Community Centre from 10.30am on Wednesday. Please order by 7pm Tuesday.

The following bread will be available to order for collection on Wednesday morning:

• Seeded brown loaf £2.50
• Poppy seed white loaf £2.50

• Sourdough £3.50
• Focaccia with mozzarella, pesto & tomato £4.00
