If you’re looking for bread today, there will be some in the shop by lunchtime.
Hello all, sorry for the somewhat sporadic baking of late. I will be baking this Tuesday with the following available to collect from the community centre from 1.15pm:
- white sourdough £3.50
- rye sourdough £3.50
- oaty wholemeal tin £3.25
- White tin £3.00
And, as I think we could all do with some cheering up, this week every loaf will come with a free cinnamon bun! Extra buns available for £1.25 each.
If for any reason you are not able to get out and about, just let me know and I’ll arrange to drop off your order if I can (so long as you’re not too far away!).
It’s all a bit too windswept and interesting outside at the moment but should the power stay on long enough, I’ll do a quick bake tomorrow:
- sourdough £3.50
- seeded brown tin £3.25
Order by 9pm tonight (Mon) for collection tomorrow (Tue) from 1pm from the community centre.
So the Kilchoan Bakery is slowly coming out of hibernation, despite the weather still being somewhat wintery, not least because our own stocks of bread have run out! So, I will be baking the following tomorrow morning:
- large seeded brown £3.25
- white tin loaf £3.00
- granary loaf £2.50
Collection will be from the Kilchoan Community Centre from 1pm. If you would like to order anything please let me know by 9pm this evening.
…and so are Christmas Cake, spiced biscotti, stollen and other tasty treats. All of which will be available at tomorrow’s Christmas Produce & Craft Market from 11am in the Kilchoan Community Centre. I will also have a variety of bread available. Hope to see you then.
I’ll be at the produce & craft market from 11am until 1pm tomorrow in the Kilchoan Community Centre.
The bakery is now closed for an autumn break. I will be back baking for the Produce Market on October 23rd.
I’ll be at the Produce Market tomorrow from 11am with an autumnal take on my brownie recipe – brambles taking the place of raspberries. As it is sourdough September, I’ll also have plenty of sourdough as well as white & granary loaves and, of course, cinnamon buns.
With it all feeling a lot less like summer, I’ll be bringing some treats along to the Produce Market tomorrow (11 Sept) including cinnamon buns and doughnuts as well as sourdough and the usual bread.
I’ll be at the Kilchoan Community Centre from 11am. Hope to see you then.
It’s Sourdough September so of course I’ll be baking some this week. With no Wednesday market, I am taking orders for delivery on Wednesday morning. The following will be available:
- sourdough £3.50
- 3 malt & sunflower loaf £3.25
- focaccia with goats cheese, caramelised onion and tomato £4.00
- cinnamon buns £1.25
Please order by 8pm Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday morning – 10am Puffin Coffee, 10.15 Kilchoan Community Centre or 10.30 Community Garden shop
I’ll be at tomorrow’s Produce & Craft Market tomorrow from 11am – 1pm. Hope to see you then.
