Spring bakes

After a winter break, the bakery is getting a dust off and the sourdoughs are getting fattened up ready for some spring baking.

Dates for your diary – I’ll be baking to order on the 13th & 27th March, then back at the first produce market of the year on the 3rd April.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like (Italian) Christmas

Ahead of this Saturday’s Christmas market, the bakery’s taken on a bit of an Italian feel. As well as bread pastries and miniature Christmas cakes, there’ll be fig & orange panforte and three types of biscotti on offer. All of which store and make great presents, if you can manage not to eat them! Hope to see you on Saturday at the Kilchoan Community Centre from 12-4pm.
