Going Dutch

Tuesday will be the last baking day for a couple of weeks as I’ll be disappearing to Holland in search of windmills, cheese & some new bread recipes. The following is available to order for collection on Tuesday (from 12.45pm campsite, 1pm at the Community Centre or 1.30pm at the Community Garden) :

  • seeded brown tin loaf £3.00
  • poppy seed bloomer £2.50
  • rye & caraway £3.25
  • granary cob £2.50
  • focaccia with mozzarella, tomato & pesto £4.00
  • cinnamon buns £1.25

Please get any orders to me by 7pm Monday. I’ll be back baking on Saturday 8th July and the Produce Market the following week.

Coorie in & eat bread

While it may have seemed like Ardnamurchan had been transported to the Caribbean for the last few weeks, I guess we all knew it had to end at some point. With storm Hector blowing through, it might be time to coorie in for the weekend and, for those of that can, lurk by a hot bread oven. With that in mind, the following bread will be available this Saturday:

  • Sourdough £3.50
  • Seeded brown tin loaf £3.00
  • Baguettes £2.00
  • Focaccia topped with goats cheese, tomato & onion chutney £4.00
  • Granary cob £2.50
  • Gluten free loaf £3.00
  • Cinnamon buns £1.25/ea
  • Mixed olives with garlic & herbs £1.20/pot

Please order by 3pm Friday for collection on Saturday morning (from 9.30am Kilchoan campsite, 10am Kilchoan Community Centre or 10.30 Community Garden)
